The overall impression of this hotel's common areas is completely historical, you can almost hear the voices from past time in the corridors. If it would have been the common areas only I would rate, I would have rated it with 5 stars.
Also the meal in the restaurant was really nice, both the selection of food and drinks together with the preparation.
However the rooms was very 80-th style, the cold water was actually warm and I woke up seeing a flea that had just bit me, jump away, (this was in room 10-11). In the morning I had around 6-9 flea bites on my body.
Very average. Room is clean, that’s the only plus. Room is small and you can hear absolutely everything what’s happening in other rooms, even them using toilet!! No privacy at all, they were knocking at my door 4 times in a row to clean not letting me sleep. Choose a whiter option or take earplugs! A gentleman at the reception with an earring is helpful, thank you 🙏
A charming rustic hotel with its stone walls and mesmerizing mountain views. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel's terrace is a highlight with its great views on the mountain and the life in Couermayeur. Moreover, the gentleman at the reception was not only super friendly but also incredibly supportive.
Too cold and too dark. No fresh bread.
I was told that the fireplace is not allowed to be turned on in Italy (so don't look at the nice picture provided as it won't look like that, not even close).
It's our 4th day now at this place and from day 1 we weren't given a fresh bread (breakfast nor lunch).
Nevertheless more lights in the room are needed. In the evening we can't even see what's inside our luggages. Even worse if you want to charge your phone(s)... then you stay with no light at all (only with one coming from your bathroom).
Only two good things - a nice view from our room window and a ski lift 3 minutes walk from the hotel (which still keeps us to stay).

The view was amazing. The ambience was very quaint
Stayed here on our TMB trek, a very nice hotel, though that's compared to the refuges we were used to. Expect a 20min walk to do anything in Courmayeur, but the iffy location was made up for in good food and accommodations, the food (especially the breakfast) was great!
Brilliant room with an amazing view! Food was delicious every night and really friendly family run service!
Stayed at Hotel Dollone during our TMB. It's a converted castle. The dinner and breakfast were probably the best so far on the tour. Barbara speaks good English and very helpful with local knowledge. A must stop if you are doing the TMB.
